CFP (Cold Fusion Phenomenon) stands for gnuclear reactions and accompanying events occurring in solids with high densities of hydrogen isotopes (H and/or D) in ambient radiationh belonging to Solid-State Nuclear Physics (SSNP) or Condensed Matter Nuclear Science (CMNS).

The 8th annual meeting of the CF-Society of Japan was held on November 29 – 30 at Doshisha University, Kyoto. The Proceedings of the Meeting was published by Hiroshi Yamada on March 31, 2008.

The dates for ICCF-14 are 10-15 August 2008.  The web site will be uploaded to www.iccf-14.org in the near future.  Meanwhile, here is some of the key information.

15 April 2008:                  Registration will open on the conference web site.

 6 June 2008:                  Abstracts are due. Details will be on the web site.
27 June 2008:                 Notification of acceptance of papers.
    If you need a letter of invitation to get a visa, please email Robert Smith at oicresmith@aol.com   In the email, kindly (a) provide specifics on your past participation in the ICCF series (if germane), (b) list some of your contributions to the field (if germane) and (c) include any specific wording required or suggested by your government, plus provide (d) your current affiliation and (e) your position.
   We are expecting to have a dynamic conference in an interesting region during this, the 20th year of our field.
