(Back numbers of this News are posted on the above Website)

This is the CFRL News (in English) No. 44 for Cold Fusion researchers published by Dr. H. Kozima, now at the Physics Department and Low Energy Nuclear Laboratory, Portland State University, Oregon, USA.

CFP (Cold Fusion Phenomenon) stands for “nuclear reactions and accompanying events occurring in solids with high densities of hydrogen isotopes (H and/or D) in ambient radiation.”

This issue contains following item:

1) ANS Conference (June 1 – 5, 2003, San Diego) will have Cold Fusion Phenomenon Session (Call for papers)

2) Following Paper is published in JJAP. R.A. Oriani and J.C. Fisher, "Generation of Nuclear Trucks during Electrolysis

3) Program of the RCCNTCE10 (The 10th Russian Conference on Cold Nuclear Transmutations of Chemical Elements and Ball-Lightening)

September 29 - October 6, 2002, Dagomys, Sochi

1) ANS Conference (June 1 – 5, 2003, San Diego) will have Low Energy Nuclear Reaction Session (Call for papers)

2003 Annual Meeting of American Nuclear Society (ANS) will be held on June 1 – 5, 2003 at San Diego, CA, USA. Webpages of this meeting (Call for papers) is at

http://www.ans.org/meetings/pdfs/2003/am2003-cfp.pdf

In a Technical Division “Isotope and Radiation,” they will have a session on “Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions.” Deadline of submission of summaries is Jan. 17, 2003.

Please notice this date if you want to join this meeting.

American Nuclear Society 2003 Annual Meeting

Date; June 1 – 5, 2003

Place; Town and Country Convention Center, San Diego, California, USA

Session; Track 8: Nonpower Radiation Applications, 8c Low-Energy Nuclear Reactions (in Technical Division – Isotopes and Radiation (IRD))

Program Chairman of IRD is Stephen LaMont at Savannah River Labs to whom we can ask any questions about the session. His mail address is

stephen.lamont@srs.gov .

2) Following Paper is published in JJAP. R.A. Oriani and J.C. Fisher, "Generation of Nuclear Trucks during Electrolysis

JCF Mail informed publication of the following paper on Cold Fusion Phenomenon(CFP) or Low Energy Nuclear Reactions in Solids (LENR) in Japanese Journal of Applied Physics (JJAP) published by Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP). Website of JSAP (in English) is

http://www.jsap.or.jp/english/index.html

As I noticed in the CFRL News No. 38, only a few Journals published by Scientific Organizations in the world accept recently CFP as a branch of science. It is interesting to notice that Japan Society of Applied Physics together with Italian Physical Society, Russian Physical Society and American Nuclear Society opens its gate for a new science of solid state-nuclear physics.

R.A. Oriani and J.C. Fisher, "Generation of Nuclear Trucks during Electrolysis." Jpn. J. Appl. Phys., Vol.41 (2002) pp.6180-6183.

3) Program of the RCCNTCE10 (The 10th Russian Conference on Cold Nuclear Transmutations of Chemical Elements and Ball-Lightening)

Program of the above Conference was sent us from Irina Savvatimova. Following is the part of it closely related with CFP selected by H. Kozima. Full program is posted in my Website at CFRL News No.44.
