The Japan CF-research Society (JCF)

 

The Japan CF-research Society (JCF) was established in March 29, 1999 at the First Annual Meeting of JCF held in Osaka.

 

In the Meeting from 29 to 30 of March, there were presented 20 papers including three theoretical ones with total attendants about 40. Papers were presented by Y. Arata, Y. Iwamura, H. Kozima, T. Mizuno, R. Notoya, T. Ohmori, K. Ota, A. Takahashi, N. Yabuuchi, H. Yamada, E. Yamaguchi, and others.

Rules and Regulations of JCF (translated into English arbitrarily by H.K.)

 

1. Name of the Society: The society is called as CF (Nuclear Reactions in Solids) Kenkyu-kai in Japanese and as Japan CF-research Society in English.

 

2. Object of the Society: The objects of JCF are promotion of science and technology through research in CF (nuclear reactions in solids), development of mutual communication and friendship among its members and also enlightenment and development of CF research in Japan.

 

3. Activities of the Society: The society performs following activities.

1) Research and development of science and technology in CF phenomenon.

2) Communication of research information among members and representative activity in international relationship.

3) Organization of the annual meeting, meetings of individual branches, workshops and lectures.

4) Publication of periodicals, reports of research activities, and useful materials for CF research.

5) Collection of papers, reviews and data on CF phenomenon.

6) Other activities related with development of CF research.

7. Fields of Research: Main fields of research of JCF will be interdisciplinary ones which range two or more established branches of science and technology, listed below for instance, and are accepted by established societies with difficulty.

Nuclear physics, Controlled nuclear fusion, Radiation physics, Condensed matter and solid physics, Materials science, Surface physics, Metal technology, Hydrogen occlusion and emission by solids, Electrochemistry, Heat measurement, Accelerator beam science, Laser technology, Atomic power technology, Quantum technology, Molecular dynamics, Ultrasonic technology, and so forth.
